Lage

Die Stadt befindet sich am Fluss Una, welcher die Grenze zu Bosnien und Herzegowina bildet.

Das kroatische Parlament hat 2025 beschlossen, auf dem GelΓ€nde der ehemaligen Kaserne Cerkezovac, die zur Gemeinde gehΓΆrt, ein Endlager fΓΌr radioaktive AbfΓ€lle zu errichten.cite-ref-1[1]

BevΓΆlkerung

Die Einwohnerzahl betrug 2011 fΓΌr die Gesamtgemeinde 5570 Einwohner. Dvor selber hat 1406 Bewohner. Bei der VolkszΓ€hlung 2011 bezeichneten sich 71,90 % der Einwohner als Serben. Damit ist Dvor eine von zwei Gemeinden in der Gespanschaft mit serbischer BevΓΆlkerungsmehrheit. 25,85 % waren Kroaten.
